Gentlemen,
I wanted to give you a shout-out / awesome job on your 9 Imbrie Place project! We had the pleasure of using that for our home base for the past 5 days for our daughter’s wedding. We had a bridal party of 24 including the little ones and the space and setting was perfect.
As an architect myself, I really appreciate the interesting asymmetry, massing and varied material on the facades. Every room has a balcony. You are wise enough that no casements open on balconies, only Andersen window walls. Square transoms top the gables instead of a cliché radiused window group. There are windows in every room……great job throughout. We needed my other daughter, the PhD candidate, to assist with the smart shades though. I must admit, I may borrow the approach in the bathroom where the floor tiles run up behind the mirror wall and the outlets are grouped with the switch plate. Nice job on 11 Imbrie Place too. It will forever be a special part of a spectacular wedding weekend. Well done.
