Pinehurst Road Warehouse
This 69,674-square-foot warehouse, approved by the Plumstead Planning Board, transforms functional space into an artistic vision, accommodating six distinct tenant areas. The original design concept captures an imaginative interpretation of the expansive sky currently seen over the existing agricultural landscape. Echoing the openness of the blue sky and the ephemeral vapor trails of passing aircraft, the façade reimagines these natural elements, layering a sense of movement and tranquility onto the building’s exterior. Through this approach, the warehouse harmonizes with its surroundings, creating a visual dialogue between the built environment and the open fields it occupies. The planning board felt they wanted a more traditional warehouse, so the design evolved into an approved version.
