Pine Belt Enterprises in Lakewood, New Jersey hired Tokarski Millemann Architects, LLC to provide design services for their Image program. Based on concepts provided by Chevrolet, the 30,000 square foot facility was updated to change the consumer experience in the showroom, service area and all of the customer ‘touch points’. The mezzanine level was rebuilt and refined to reflect a clean, modern design. A Business Development Center (BDC) was created for the sales associates and to remove clutter from the sales floor. The result is a clean look for the customer which magnifies focus on the vehicles. The existing main entry, which was understated, is now provided with a beacon of aluminum panel and glass to attract the customer and provide an anchor to the showroom beyond. The $4,000,000 project was completed in July 2007, took over two years to complete, as the showroom remained open during the entire construction process.
