This new contemporary residence is located across from the Metedeconk Yacht Club in Brick, New Jersey. The owners desire was a clean, simple modern design with nautical references.  The standing seam metal roof was selected to give the house a modern aesthetic while providing a roof solution that would not be damaged by the high winds along the coast of the Atlantic.  A direct applied stucco exterior reminds the owner’s of the homes in Brazil where they grew up. The interior has two levels where the main circulation spaces are raised to reflect a dock, while the main living spaces are sunken so inhabitants disembark to the different living areas.
