152 Chicago Avenue

This new home was designed as a beach home for a family from northern New Jersey. The original home was in the family for decades and was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. The time has come to replace the older home with a new modern home that meets or exceeds all the FEMA guidelines for a structure in a flood zone. The owners were looking for a clean modern home with some with a modern coastal vibe. Our concept of a modern interpretation of a beach house is embodied in the white stucco representing the white sand beaches. Grey reclaimed wood was used to represent driftwood commonly found along the shoreline.
