Construction Begins on Sea Watch Recreation Facility in Manasquan, NJ

The construction of the new Sea Watch recreation facility in Manasquan, New Jersey is currently underway. Seawolf Construction DBA Imperial Construction and Electric is the general contractor on the project. KSI Consulting Engineers is the MEP Engineer on the project. Civil engineering, structural engineering and project management is being performed by Colliers Engineering.

Sea Watch is a Public Beach Pavilion located along 1st Avenue on the beach at the end of Ocean Avenue. This facility replaces the former aging facility which was damaged in Superstorm Sandy.  The new building will be an elevated structure to prevent damage by future storm events. This new facility features seasonal locker storage and lifeguard storage for watercraft on the ground floor. The upper level will have a food concession with a commercial kitchen, a dining room utilizing overhead glass garage doors to allow open-air dining, a sundries store, bathrooms, an elevator, and a large outdoor deck for dining and taking in the spectacular ocean views.

This is set to open by Memorial Day Weekend 2024 so beachgoers can enjoy an enhanced beach experience next season at the Jersey Shore.
