With licenses in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania we have the capability to do work regionally; although the majority of our work is in New Jersey. CURRENT AVAILABLE POSITIONS

                                                                                                                            PROJECT MANAGER 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidate is an architectural graduate who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture starting with client interviews through construction administration. Responsible for managing team to ensure completion of projects within budgeted fee hours and time frame. Independently solves problems encountered and coordinates all aspects of a project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interview potential clients and prepare proposals

Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts

Serves as primary client liaison to bring schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion

Prepare strategic plans for project success and actively manages client budgets, schedules and programs

Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects

Review and coordinate productions of staff and consultants for accuracy and assurance of compliance to project requirements

Facilitates project communications and documentation

Perform the following tasks as necessary to fulfill workload:

  •                                    Perform existing conditions surveys and prepare base drawings for use in architectural works and coordination with consultants
  •                                    Code and Zoning research
  •                                    Site Planning/Zoning evaluations
  •                                    Initiate and create designs for assigned projects
  •                                    Develop schematic and design development sketches appropriate to programmatic requirements including 3D modeling
  •                                    Product research & selection of appropriate products for use on projects
  •                                    Prepare detailed construction documents utilizing Revit & AutoCad Architecture
  •                                    Performs basic structural calculations & design using software
  •                                    Prepares/edits specifications for public bid projects
  •                                    Perform job site visits for verification and evaluation
  •                                    Attend pre-bid meetings, bid openings and construction meetings
  •                                    Review & process shop drawings and submittals
  •                                    Delegate, supervise and review the work of architectural staff involved in project

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

Honesty and integrity is integral to what we do and is expected at all times. An openness to instruction, change, new ideas and concepts is key to our everyday work. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Bachelors of Architecture degree, with 8+ years of work experience in the field of Architecture with a minimum of 2+ years of project management experience.

Must be proficient in AutoCad Architecture version 2019, Revit and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Possess working knowledge of structural sizing software and understanding of live and dead loads; ability to analyze and design basic wood structures

                                                                                                                                PROJECT ARCHITECT 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidate is a licensed architect who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture starting with client interviews through construction administration. Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, as well as, problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform existing conditions surveys and prepare base drawings for use in architectural works and coordination with consultants

Code and Zoning research

Site Planning/Zoning evaluations

Initiate and create designs for assigned projects

Develop schematic and design development sketches appropriate to programmatic requirements

Prepare detailed construction documents utilizing Revit & AutoCad Architecture

Perform basic structural calculations & design using software

Prepare specifications for public bid projects

Perform job site visits for verification and evaluation

Review & process shop drawings and submittals

Product research & selection of appropriate products for use on projects

                                                                                                               ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER  1, 2 and 3

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidate will be able to successfully perform job assignments including initiating and creating designs, production of construction documents, site planning and visits, in addition to the responsibilities specified below and assigned by the Project Architect and/ or Project Manager.

LEVEL 1:        0-1 year experience

LEVEL 2:        1-2 years’ experience – non-registered architectural school graduate involved in or completed the Architecture Experience Program (AXP)

LEVEL 3:        2+ years’ experience – non-registered architectural school graduate involved in or completed the Architecture Experience Program (AXP)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create designs for aspects of assigned projects

Code and Zoning research

Site Planning/Zoning analysis

Develop schematic and design development sketches appropriate to programmatic requirements

Drafting of plans and details

Revit modeling of plans and details

Production of construction documents under the direction of Project Architect or Project Manager

Job site visits for verification and evaluation

Survey and creation of existing conditions drawings

Review & process shop drawings and submittals

Product research & selection of appropriate products for use on projects

Coordinate with Consulting Engineers drawings

Other duties as assigned by Project Architect
